Maze Rx Pharmacy is an independently owned and operated pharmacy in downtown Halifax, built to serve our community in a more personal, convenient, and efficient way.
The name "Maze" holds deep meaning for us. First, it carries the letters of my two beautiful boys — Malek and Zein — who drive me to be a better person every day and do more good in this world.
Second, it represents the healthcare maze we all navigate. We're here to help you find the right path to a better life.

Pharmacy Manager
About the Role
Maze Rx Pharmacy is looking for an experienced and motivated Pharmacy Manager to lead daily operations at our growing community pharmacy in Halifax. You'll oversee dispensing, patient care, and staff management while helping us deliver the personalized, technology-forward pharmacy experience our patients love.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all pharmacy operations including dispensing, inventory, and compliance
- Provide clinical services such as medication reviews, immunizations, and treatment of common conditions
- Lead, mentor, and schedule pharmacy staff and technicians
- Ensure exceptional patient care and counseling at every interaction
- Manage inventory, ordering, and relationships with suppliers
- Maintain compliance with Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists standards
- Support delivery operations and medication synchronization programs
- Contribute to community health initiatives and pharmacy growth
Qualifications
- Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Nova Scotia College of Pharmacists
- Minimum 2+ years of pharmacy experience (management experience an asset)
- Strong clinical knowledge and patient counseling skills
- Experience with Kroll pharmacy management software is an asset
- Immunization certification
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Passion for community health and personalized patient care
